Our aims

We strive to help your child develop positive self-esteem, self-concepts, a sense of identity, independence and an ability to use initiative. We create a learning environment in which each child can develop at their own pace through individualised programs. We foster growth and positive attitudes and teach values to assist in decision making.

We work in partnership with families and the community to foster a sense of belonging in our centre. Our inclusive approach helps to develop positive gender, racial, cultural, class and individual identities, showing respect for diversity. We provide a caring, safe environment in which all children can feel secure.

We help children to develop their interests and explore their world by nurturing their natural curiosity. We listen to and value what children say, and support and enhance each child’s growth, development and learning by providing stimulating environments and individualised programs.

How we achieve our aims

relationships
Relationships

We work in partnership with parents, inviting and welcoming families to be involved in our programming by working collaboratively with staff.

We respect that our educators possess the strengths, talents, experience, skills and interests to positively contribute to our programs.

We develop a trusting relationship with each child and their family.

Responsive learning relationships are strengthened as educators and children learn together and share decisions, respect and trust.

We value and build on children’s strengths, skills and knowledge to ensure they remain motivated and engaged in learning.

Programming

At Advanced Early Learning, we implement Belonging, Being and Becoming – The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia. Through this framework, we build on children’s interests, knowledge, experience and background as individuals within the group.

We ensure routines are flexible so that children have time to learn and play, make choices and be co-constructors of their learning.

We create opportunities for children to engage in a variety of experiences that encompass all developmental and key learning areas.

We establish effective practices for evaluation and planning, identifying each child’s needs and interests.
